Volvo's smallest car is aimed at younger driver, comes with three-doors and looks stylish. There is a host of options to personalise the car both inside and out including different coloured body kits. The C30 drives very well and comes with a range of engines to suit different pockets and tastes, from a 1.6-litre petrol, which will prove adequate but not inspiring, up to the zippy, turbo-charged T5.
For more economical motoring there's a diesel that provides smooth, refined cruising, but can be noisy under hard acceleration. It's also fitted with new gadgets that are firsts on a small car when it was launched in late 2006 including a blind spot indicator fitted to the wing mirrors and a call centre which provides a range of driver information.
Up front, the driver and passenger benefit from Volvo’s sumptuous and supportive seats and there is the option of an electrically adjustable driver's seat on S and SE spec.
