The Kia Venga is the first car designed from the ground up by ex-Audi man Peter Schreyer, and has been designed, engineered, developed and built in Europe – for Europe. And that's important because when it comes to interior design and driving dynamics, we have very different tastes from Kia's homeland.

The Kia Venga is a handsome machine with elements of Ford, Vauxhall and Honda lurking within its design, making it a chic car about town. And if you want a flavour of what future Kias will look like, the Venga is the answer. Inside there's a feeling of space which belies the Venga's small footprint. There's class-leading legroom, and there's a huge amount of headroom front and back. This is emphasised by the full-length sunroof fitted to our Venga 3 range-topping test cars. A special mention goes to the space in the rear where there's almost as much room as a Focus-sized hatchback.
