New Kia Pro Ceed

The new 3dr Kia Pro-ceed is the sporty member of the Ceed family. Apart from its three-door body style, it has a lowered, more raked roofline, shallower windows and windscreen, lowered and modified suspension, and sportier styling, with a rooftop spoiler, wider and lower front bumper, deep central air intake, shallower front grille and sloped-in rear panels, giving the effect of wider wheel arches. It also has different taillights and larger rear foglights, clearly differentiating it from its more conservative five-door equivalents.

Engines on offer at launch are 1.6 petrol, 1.6 diesel and 2.0 diesel; an entry-level 1.4 petrol will follow later in the year. Four-speed automatic transmission is optional with the 1.6 petrol engine. Ceed models do pack in a lot of equipment for the money, and still undercut similarly-specified mainstream rivals.
