A high-spec new variant of the Honda Civic 5-door goes on sale from September 2009, giving the popular British-built hatchback even sportier looks. The new Si grade will be available across the entire 5-door Honda Civic range, in all engine variants and transmissions. Also now available in the Civic range is the new Honda Civic Hybrid.
The new Honda Insight is not as futuristic as the old one. The covered rear wheels have gone to be replaced by the more normal variety and, as you would expect, the styling is that of a modern, 5-seat, family hatchback and is based on the FCX Clarity concept car. Starting at the front, the Honda Insight's integrated bumper dips down at the very front to allow room for the lower grille. The upper bumper contour borders the lower edge of the headlight clusters and in between is a slim grille, ahead of the nicely curved bonnet.
The new Honda Accord is the UK's most reliable car, according to this year's Which? car survey. The car achieved a reliability score of 99, one of the highest scores ever achieved; closely followed by the new Honda Jazz in second place with a score of 98.
